blasting Pizza Hut for their awful new ads and overly smug presentation. Well, it seems they were listening, because Pizza Hut has given their marketing campaign a complete makeover! They're going so far as to drop the word "Pizza" from the title of their restaurant, changing their name to just
"The Hut."Blogging works, you guys!

The hut? Ew. Sounds like I'm eating off of Jabba.
I just read on Slate's Big money that pizza hut is actually still keeping "Pizza" with the "Hut," but they're looking to market "The Hut" as a texting-twitter-hip-phrase for the mobile generation.

And here I thought it presaged a merger with Sunglass Hut.
In another story of food chains reading our blog, McDonald's just released new Third-Pounder angus burgers. And they're delicious. They complete corrected their McCafe mistake. Freaky!
Sooo.... this is like Gatorade calling itself "G"? Because if it is I'm not sure I approve...
