No need to fear, Cincinnati Citizens! Shadow Hare is here! Patrolling the streets with ever-vigilance, Shadow Hare takes to the night to fight crime, help the homeless, and give speeches to children. Armed with his trusty pepper spray, handcuffs, and stun-gun, Shadow Hare and the "Allegiance of Heroes" have taken on a personal mission to make the world a safer place. Is Shadow Hare a friend to the public? Or does his mask really just conceal a neurotic crackpot? You decide, America.

There was actually a recent CNN article about the growth of real-life vigilante superhero justice now that so many people are out of jobs:

I'm still not sure what to make out of it. It seems like a bad idea, but mostly that's just because I'm worried that someone is going to end up getting hurt. (Or getting dead.)

The writer Dave Eggers began a tutoring center for kids called 826 Valencia. Due to zoning laws in San Francisco the center had to have a store as its front, so he chose to start a pirate supply store. Another tutoring center along the same lines started in Brooklyn a few years after that. In front of that center?

A Super Hero Supply Store.

It seems Brooklyn Vigilantes will be well equipped.
